I’m a passionate potter who loves creating beautiful and useful ceramic pieces for everyday use - in particular, cups, mugs and bowls in a variety of sizes.
Most days you will find me in my hidden-away studio at Yoyo Yard in the wonderful and eclectic North Laine area of Brighton. It’s a very inspiring environment, as I’m surrounded by other creative bods, wellness gurus and a lovely big sauna!
All my pieces are hand built from stoneware - pottery that has been fired at a high temperature of around 1250°C. This type of clay is nonporous so it doesn’t need to be fully glazed to be functional, but I like to add glazes where I think a different surface texture would be aesthetically pleasing and practical too.
You can never have too many little pottery cups, mugs and bowls, and mine are all designed to mix and match with each other.
